Return of the Bendigo HitachisJune 24, 2006 16:17 PM
After their withdrawal from suburban service in Melbourne, four 3-car Hitachi sets were stored unsecured in the open at the Bendigo North Workshops. In 2006 stripped of parts, and with broken windows and covered with graffiti, they were moved back to Melbourne by El Zorro using Y145 and S302 in the middle of the night of August 30th. Here they are upon arrival the next morning at Newport Workshops. |

SRHC - Tocumwal Centenary Tour July 2008July 12, 2008 11:55 AM
On July 12th the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre ran a special train from Seymour through the Goulburn Valley to Tocumwal. V/Line's N468 and SRHC's T320 were the locomotives, with 10 carriages: 'State 4', four S cars, four E cars and 'Yarra'. |

On Saturday 13, 2008 the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre ran their picnic train from Seymour to Tocumwal, the locos were V/Line's N460 and N461 |

Steamrail - Wycheproof Weekender October 2008October 12, 2008 10:40 AM
Steamrail ran a weekender tour from Melbourne to Wycheproof, leaving on Friday night with R761, T356 and S301 and arriving on Saturday morning. The train stabled at Wycheproof station, with S301 taking the train home on Sunday. The train ran early until Maryborough, where it had to wait for the proper departure time. It ran back via the straight, the photos are from Sunday, between Wycheproof and Bacchus Marsh. |

On Saturday 24th of June 2006, Matt Julian organised a farewell tour for the BS carriages, by chartering the last remaining BS car, BS217, to be attached to the regular Swan Hill passenger train. |
